About Us

Practice Development & Clerking

DVC broke new ground in April 2017, when it set up its pioneering Practice Development Department, the first set of Chambers in Hong Kong to do so. This prompted DVC to be the only Chambers in Asia and Australia to be short-listed by the Financial Times under the ‘Innovation in the Business of Law: New Business & Service and Delivery Models’.

Solicitors may contact any of our members directly or get in touch with Chambers through our Practice Development and Clerking Team. You and your client will benefit from our clerks’ comprehensive knowledge of each barrister’s practice and expertise, which enables them to make suitable and appropriate recommendations concerning each barrister.

Subject to the Bar Code, our members can also accept instructions directly from overseas and in-house lawyers, and members of certain professional bodies on matters including advisory work, and international arbitration. They may accept appointments as arbitrators, mediators or umpires, without referral by a solicitor.
