Jiang Zixin



Zixin joined Chambers in 2021 after completing pupillage with Mr Derek Chan SC, Dr Benny Lo, Mr Alan Kwong and Mr Jason Yu.

Zixin graduated with a JD from the University of Hong Kong, ranking first in his class. He went on to obtain the BCL from the University of Oxford with Distinction. He was awarded the Bar Scholarship in 2020. Prior to studying law, he read Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford.

Zixin is developing a broad civil practice and accepts instructions in all areas of Chambers’ work.

  • Re GT Group Holdings Ltd [2022] HKCFI 2054 — acted for the applicant in obtaining an extension of time to hold its AGM (as sole advocate)

    • [2022] HKCFI 2055 — acted for the defendant in obtaining a variation of the costs order nisi on the ground that the plaintiff failed to do better than the defendant’s sanctioned payment (as sole advocate, paper disposal)

Sex Discrimination

  • Acted pro bono for a domestic helper in a sexual harassment claim against the husband of her
    former employer (settled for a six-figure sum) (as sole counsel)


  • Wah Sung Construction & Piling Ltd v Cheerwide Ltd [2024] HKCFI 45 — acted for an architect in a 10-day trial defending against claims for alleged delay (led by Martin Hui SC)
