On 18 June 2016, David Chen, Alexander Tang and Michael Lok of Des Voeux Chambers were invited to deliver a lecture at the Pudong Lawyers Association on Hong Kong Company and Insolvency Law. The event consisted of a lecture by the three speakers, on topics including shareholders’ disputes, directors’ duties and cross-border insolvency, and was followed by an interactive discussion facilitated by the senior partners of Hansheng Law Offices, Shanghai.
Michael Lok is a foreign law consultant to Hansheng Law Offices, pursuant to a scheme introduced by the PRC Ministry of Justice in accordance with the Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (CEPA), and entered into between the Hong Kong Bar Association and the Shanghai Bar Association.
