The Chambers is honoured to have hosted Mr. Neil Kaplan, CBE, KC, SBS for an internal sharing session with the members at the DVC Conference Centre last week. Mr Kaplan is the founder of Des Voeux Chambers and a leading international arbitrator.
In his speech on the topic “Challenges and Opportunities for Arbitration in Hong Kong: Tips for Arbitration Practitioners”, Mr. Kaplan shared his invaluable insights into several key issues in Hong Kong’s arbitration landscape and provided practical advice on maximizing the effectiveness of both the arbitration system and tribunals. He also outlined the necessary skills, education, and networking for those aspiring to become successful arbitrators in Hong Kong.
