Invited by Jincheng Tongda & Neal Law Firm (JT&N) Shanghai, Winnie Tam SC and CW Ling from Des Voeux Chambers delivered a lively seminar on “Recent Developments in Arbitration in Mainland China and Hong Kong” at JT&N Shanghai office last Friday.
Drawing on her extensive experience as an international arbitrator, Winnie highlighted key aspects of the arbitration process, including arbitration agreement, choice of arbitrators and advocacy skills. CW shared practical tips and latest case law on pre-arbitration procedure, such as judicial interim measures, as well as post-arbitration enforcement strategy, such as reciprocal enforcement of awards between Mainland China and Hong Kong SAR.
Yunyan Zhang, Managing Partner of JT&N Shanghai delivered the opening remarks. Yue Du, Partner of JT&N moderated the talk. The seminar was well attended by in-house counsel and key representatives from the arbitration community in Shanghai.
